Destination where marked files will be copied

#1 Post by sherpadoo »

Hi. I have an external hard drive that was corrupted. I used test disk and eventually found that the fat32 boot sector (something like that) was corrupted, as was it's backup twin (?). So I am just trying to copy everything onto another external hard drive, but I'm not able to select anything but files or directors from the PC itself. I'm sure this is stupidly simple, but I haven't been able to select any external hardware for me to target for the file transfer. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. (This is all using the shell from ubuntu)

cheers
