Hello community

i need urgent help here, i have a usb sony vaio 2.0, 2TB exfat, and i don´t know why, it´s been a headache to solve this, because all information regarding that kind of error, the CHS and LBA conflict, or is a mess to understand, or is incomplete, and i need someone that can tell me step by step please, how can i solve this problem to get my stick back

i have "None" partition table type has been detected
click on "Intel" option
"analyse"
and get the
Warning: Bad starting head (CHS and LBA don't match)
Only one partition must be bootable
Space conflict between the following two partitions
4* Xenix Bad Block
1* Xenix bad block

I will be very grateful if you can help me with this

thank you in advance

Can you repeat your diagnose running partition table type Intel instead of None.
Please copy and paste the content of your testdisk.log into your next post.
You'll find it within your testdisk folder and you can open it using wordpad.

Hello my friend and thank you very much for your answer

i looked for that log file, but i can´t find it, i don´t know where he put it. i looked everywhere...

but by the way, i did choose the intel option, and the result was the first photo, that is in my previous post.

Now, i have made another analysis, and the result of this one, was different from that first photo (see photo attached).

Made another one and now i have only 2 options, and one of them is (create partition pressing in "A"), but i don´t know what to choose from here, because it asks me for the "Geometry, Head, Type, Sectors", and i don´t know nothing about this, i read all the articles related to this, but none has been conclusive, or none says me what to put under this configuration.

The pen is a Sony vaio exfat 2TB, i´m newbie in this so i don´t understand most parts, but i tried to follow the tutorials, of some other cases, but none has the one that i have, and when it has it, nobody answers it.

So i need your help.

as a last resort i can do another analysis, and see where that log file goes and posted here, if that photo, and my description doesn't help you.

Thank you very much in advance, and if you can tell me something, of the things that i have posted now, that would be a great help.

Here are some screen shots of what happens after analyse

When i click create partition, appears some things that i don´t understand like "geometry", "Head", "Type", "Sectors", and here is where i get stuck, because i don´t know the wright values to input, and i can´t pass from this menu.

Hello my friend

well i´m trying to give you the log file, but i can´t pasted because it exceeds the character limit, i tryed to insert a "div", "code" or "list" but it doesn´t allow me, it´s always saying that i´m exceeding

so i put it here in this link testdisk.log

and now i´m in the same position and don´t know what to do (see Photo)

Thank you very much for your kindness attention to my case

Looks like you may have to use PhotoRec to recover your data. There are a lot of trace of exFAT partition but not of one using the whole disk.

Until yet, I've not seen any 2 TB flash drive, pen, thumb nor stick?
You'd be the first case.
Some Info I've found on the web:
http://www.ebay.com/cln/tnimitz0/Other- ... 3256753015
I didn't even find any 2 TB flash drives on sony's home page either:
http://www.sony.net/Products/Media/Micr ... index.html
Can you provide more info about your stick?
Can you test the real size of your flash drive using H2testw :

2097 GB would be almost 2.1 TB and it's unusual but if it's true it should be 2000 GB.
It's only intended to clear up things before we run further diagnoses.
