HP Disk Encryption and problem with decryption one partition

#1 Post by egon64 »

Hello,

I have encrypted HP Elitebook 840 G1 laptop using HP Drive Encryption. Disk have 2 partitions: C and D. I have forgot and format one: C. Now there is RAW file system on D partition and I can't get access to it. I have information to format it. I have password and .dat file that I used to encrypt disk. Is it possible to enrypt or recover some data from D drive ? When I try to open HP Drive Encryption there is information that disk is not encrypted.

Regards
