Recover FAT32

#1 Post by sysop »

good morning
my problem is the following:
I have a FAT32 formatted disk 2TB I used with MacOS, with about 1TB of data.
Accidentally the same disc was initialized on the Mac HFS +, is there any way to retrieve the data that was present?
Perhaps using "Testdisk"?

Try TestDisk, Analyse, Quick Search. If the FAT32 partition isn't found in the first seconds, choose Stop and try Deeper Search. If no FAT32 partition is found in the first seconds, choose Stop, Quit and try PhotoRec instead.
If the FAT32 is found, choose Write, confirm, if asked, choose BackupBS and confirm, Quit
