Repair a SSD?

I have a broken SSD. Win10 recognizes the drive in Win Explorer, but cannot manipulate in Disk Management. I was able to recover my important files using 3rd party software and then came across TestDisk. After both a first Search and then a Deep Search, TestDisk recognizes the drive ("Drive G: - 511GB / 476 GiB CHS 62202 255 63 - sector size=512), but reports no partitions. It functioned as a Win7 boot disk and worked fine after being replaced and accessed through a USB3 connected enclosure . . . until I 'cold' disconnected it. I'd just like to repair and reformat for further use. I'm a "learning quickly computer hobbiest", so is it possible to do this through TestDisk and can you point me the right process?
