Repair Recovered Videos

#1 Post by pristoncong »

Hi, After using PHOTOREC to recover photos and video from my SD Card for my GoPro,
photos can be seen but videos can't be played with any players.
Videos are in .mp4 format.
any kind soul can help me out? i suspect the videos are in fragments as there is a small size video, and a large size video of the same video.
i have like, 5 videos that can be viewed as it is only like, max of 5seconds. but there are longer videos that are like minutes but i do not know which fragment belongs to the whole.

thanks

PhotoRec will not recover videos correctly from GoPro models like HD2, Hero3-Black edition, HERO4 Silver.
Special software are needed to recover the videos because they are fragmented when written on the memory card.
There is commercial service for GoPro recovery from http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/Service_ ... nn%C3%A9es (Page in French)
