luks recovery after loosing tables

#1 Post by luks »

Hey mates!

So i'm facing this trouble - somehow after my last shutdown my external usb hdd lost partition table. Testdisk has this amazing possibility to restore it, but unfortunatelly when i run it, it can't detect the most important luks partition. So the question goes - how the hell can i bring it up for partition table? Any work arounds?

To restore tables i'm doing standard procedure from wiki.
