Problem with external drive

#1 Post by konrad1221 »

Hello everyone,

I have an 2TB disk which is no longer visible by Paragon Partition Manager

But when I want to recover MFT file by TestDisk it is fail, what is more TestDisk do not see those files, he sees only one folder.
Data is still there and I don't want to lose it...
I used PhotoRec but it didn't help me so much, cos I don't have other 2TB drive to restore also the empty sectors...

The best way would be for me to repair the files allocations as you can see, files are not damaged, it is said that MFT too...
But when I try to open disk in Explorer it is corrupted.

I tried chkdsc /f f: and it was done :

but still disc is not accessible :(

What error message do you get when you try to access the files ?
It may be a problem of file ownership (google for Windows take ownership)
