Files Lost By mirror

#1 Post by Rhandy »

Hello

I have 2 drives in ubuntu server. But one is disconnected over more than one year. 03/2015.
Yesterday I reconnect drive and rebuild raid 1. Problem is Raid assume old drive as primary drive and all my Paradox Database Files are the old one. I disconnect the drive who have recent files, but all files are gone. Now I connect drive in other computer and I try to run photorec to recover all .DB (paradox DB) files.
How i can try to recover with ? I should use photorec or TestDisk?

If you disconnect the disk before the Raid 1 synchronization was completed, it may be possible to recover your lost files with PhotoRec assuming they were in the non-synchronized yet area of the disk.
After selecting the partition, choose [Whole] instead of [Free]
