I am a novice. Trying to recover an external USB drive. Not sure just how to proceed. Ran testdisk and selected Drive G ( my unreadable drive). It came back and showed the following
1 * sys =72
Bad Relative Sector
2 * sys = 74
Bad Relative Sector
3 * Netware 3.11
Bad relative sector
Only one partition must be bootable
Space conflict between the following two partitions
1 * sys 72
2 * sys 74
I pressed Q and the program started to analyze. I am not sure what was to happen? Is this what I was supposed to do. By pressing Q I thought I would be quitting without doing anything. What will happen next?

It's useless to search partitions inside a partition, in your case inside G:.
