Interpreting testdisk results
Posted: 17 Feb 2017, 03:21
Hello
I do not speak English so maybe some sentences do not clearly indicate what I want to explain .... sorry
I used testdisk, following the instructions provided, and I have obtained information that I do not know how to interpret since my disk has an NTFS partition and the tool tells me:
check_FAT: can't read FAT boot sector
Invalid FAT boot sector"
0 D FAT12 234452 148 55 397466 111 48 2618817573
FAT12 234452 148 55 397466 111 48 2618817573
This is repeated three times
When finished indicates
"The harddisk() seems too small! I must clarify that testdisk detects as none the partition table
The disk belongs to a Dell notebook that has a factory recovery partition and the rest is the working partition (c:)
I do not know what to do and I urgently need many of the files.
Please help
Thank you
