Hello there,

First off, thanks to TestDisk, I managed to avoid formatting and loosing data. Really great.

I have one remaining issue.

I have one 2TB external drive.

It seems that only TestDisk is able to see one Linux SWAP 2 partition available on the HDD.

When I go to "Select Disk" -> "Select Partition Table" (None is by default) -> "Analyse" I see the attached screenshot On this disk there is another FAT32 partition that works great (the one I managed to fix)

Now, my problem is, I do not know how to remove this partition, the Linux SWAP 2, the one that says it cant be recovered.

I do not need this partition, however, I want the other one, FAT32 left alone.

Can you help me remove this Linux SWAP 2 partition in any way?

You can ignore this Linux Swap partition.

After selecting the disk, choose PC Intel or EFI GPT.
Please post the new testdisk.log file.

Thanks for the replay.

I have attached the log file. Let me know if you need any additional information.

NOTE: I'm not able to mount this external hdd to my asus rt-n56u router (which runs unix) probable because of this invalid linux partition. However, when I plug the HDD to my PC, I can see the FAT32 partition but not the linux one anywhere.

The FAT32 is using the whole disk. There is no room for another partition...

The problem with this partition is, when I plug the External HDD to the Wireless Router, the router is not able to use it (mount it)

In case there is nothing more that can be done, let me know.
