Unable to run 7 on XP SP3

#1 Post by jonapt »

Has support for XP Pro SP3 been dropped?

A search on KERNEL32.dll turned up nothing as I can find no mention of it.

My reason for asking is that every attempt to open any of the 7.1 EXEs fails with "CancelSynchronouslo could not be located in KERNEL32.dll" or some other routine's name.

Is a KERNEL32 from some later OS required, because XP SP3's is not suitable.

Thanks

Try TestDisk 7.0 instead, it should work on XP SP3.
