Inaccessible Boot Device in windows 10

#1 Post by Boothy »

Hi All

I have a 250 GB Samsung SSD which is used has my Windows 10 OS drive. After a windows update last week it will now not boot with a blue screen stating stopcode : inaccessible boot device. I have e used Testdisk with no errors shown (including deep search). Checkdisk has repaired and scanned disk several times Ok >I have used ECB and their auto repair bootable software to repair boot\flag boot etc. Used restore successfully (according to windows). But I still keep getting the stopcode.

I have also tried cloning to new SSD and I get the same result. All files are easily read when connected to another computer not being used for boot.

Does anyone have any other pointers regarding a fix ?

Best wishes

Boothy

Looks like a corrupted Windows installation. Boot from Windows cd/dvd and choose Repair Installation.
Do not try to restore to a previous state, you have already tried it without success...
