Took a 3TB drive from another Windows 7 computer and plugged in via SATA.
Windows said initialize stupidly I obliged.
Windows Disk Manager then said I had 2794.39 unallocated.
No other operations were performed on this disk. No format.
Have used some wonky recovery utility that does see the files, but would rather just revert back to before I hit initialize.
After running an analyze with TestDisk it comes up with mismatch heads cylinders etc.. (not very tech here, only a little)
Is there an easy way to reverse this initialize that I am just not getting?
My wife is about to cut my .. uh kill me. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Re: Win7 3TB Disk initialize not formatted
Try TestDisk 7.1-WIP, Advanced, Undelete.
If it doesn't work, use PhotoRec.
In both case, be careful to store the recovered files on another disk.
Good luck
