Drive not detected

#1 Post by jinwick »

The 1TB WD Passport is not being detected in the "Disk Selection" step to recover.

I have tried running the program on both my iMac (Intel duocore 2Ghz, running 10.5.8) and PC (Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3200 @ 2Ghz, running Vista 64-bit); and, when I try selecting the disk on both computers, I don't even see the drive as an option. It lists only the computer's native drive.

I hear the drive spinning...could it be as simple as my drive cable?
