Hard drives not listed. Select a media Disk 80

#1 Post by tvoss »

I have used photorec before on other computers and it worked great. However I am trying it on my old XP desktop it has a 2nd hard drive set up with two partitions. When I run photorec it only shows the following, under Select a media:
>Disk 80 - 3944 KB / 3852 KiB

No C, D, E etc.

How can I get it to show the drives or go directly to scan a drive?

I am logged in as administrator and can explore the drives they look fine.

Many thanks for your help.

Try the Windows version of TestDisk and PhotoRec instead of the DOS one.
