Using Photorec on mobile InternalMemory

#1 Post by Topoidas »

Hi, first i want to say: thanks to photorec I was able to recover all the photos from an external disk and it was really easy to do so. photorec is very efficient.

Currently I lost the photos from the internal memory of my cell phone.
When connecting the phone to the pc, photorec does not recognize it. I am an advanced user of windows, please tell me if there is any solution to be able to use photorec on the cell phone.
Thank you,
Greetings
Thomas from Argentina

I am not aware of any solution.

Search the forum for "smartphone internal" to read the response of Christophe Grenier.

Hi there,

i had the same issue 3-4 years ago, i had to recover the photos form a smartphone android after an accidental delete.
in that case i follow a guide to copy sector-by-sector the memory of the smartphone in a RAW file that i after examined with photorec. i don't remember the process, but i find it on XDA Developers.

i suggest you to try this way
