Hello.

First of all thank you for an amazing software.

I have slight of a problem.
Yesterday I shift deleted the wrong folder. *facepalm*

I am trying to recover them using this software and it is working fine.
All the files which are under 2GB recovers just fine but the most important ones were around 18GB+24GB.
They were .avi files recording from the software called Fraps.

I can see the big files recovered witin the recup dir but as soon as it swiches to the next file the big one dissapears but all the files under 2GB just stays fine within the dir and I can use them.

I have tried both 32bit & 64bit version since I found a post on the forum suggesting that.
But still didn´t work. I have also tried to recover all file types and now running only RIFF since the files I want to recover are .avi.

I would be over the moon if anyone could help me with this.

Thank you in advance.

In the Option menu, set the paranoid option to No. Try to recover your files. Are the recovered videos valid ?

Thank you for the quick replay.

I have now set the paranoid setting to NO and it almost saved the day. Thank you!
The bigger files now save and don´t dissapear but some of the .avi are not able to play and some of them are able to buffer but once that is done most parts of the video is choppy and useless.

Some of the files don´t show up att all. Is it possible that I need to set it to search all file types? Have only RIFF as search setting now and even tho the files I am trying to recover are .avi but has changed due to the delete.

Once again thank you so much for the amazing application and help!

It's usually better to search for the default file types. But if the files were fragmented before deletion or filesystem corruption, the recovery doesn't always work.
