PhotoRec recovering photos, just not the ones I want (Mac)

#1 Post by sophie27 »

First of all, PhotoRec most definitely works... I am shocked at the number of photos it was able to recover on my compact flash card. My problem is this: PhotoRec is recovering a portion of the images from the photo shoot I want, then recovering images from the shoot I did before that. Is there anyway to force it to further scan the particular shoot I want? Or prevent it from scanning before a certain portion? I'm not an expert in any way, help would be much appreciated :D

No, you will have to sort the recovered pictures by date/time (assuming your camera time is correct).
If most pictures you are looking for are missing, try [Whole] instead of [Free].
