PhotoRec

#1 Post by gilsonlongo »

Hello,
Usually I use PhotoRec to recover files from drives with general problem in the file system (fat).
I get success in my recovery.
However, I wonder if you can recover folders / directories with their original names, it is possible?
It generates a lot of work later to identify files put in their respective names and folders.
I wish to congratulate the team for the initiative TestDisk and PhotoRec new support forum.
Thank you,
GilsonLongo

To recover the original filenames, try TestDisk, Advanced, Undelete.
