Cannot Restore ISO of Corrupted External HD made by PhotoRec

#1 Post by ArtistDirector »

I successfully created an ISO of my corrupted 2TB HD, upon a clean 2TB External HD. Of course, the ISO is 2TB in size.
However, I've run PhotoRec at least 3 complete cycles (24-72 hours each) to recover files from the ISO and copy them to a new, clean 2TB External HD, and each time it creates a Recup.Dir that is empty, with only the report.xml file (attached).

I've been searching for a solution for weeks. Any advice?

System Config:

Mac OS X 10.6.8
2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
16GB 1066 MHz DDR3
