Ok. I am using PhotoRec with Windows. I could try Linux but i prefer Windows.
Anyway i use drag and drop to move the image files on to PhotoRec. Everything works fine with dd images but not with EnCase E01 format. When i drag the image file to PhotoRec it crashes every time.
The image files are created with FTK Imager. I've tried both compressed and uncompressed image files.
No difference.
Is there a solution for this? Maybe i should file a bug report?
