Hi...
My question is about how to install the testdisk program. I deleted my pictures from SD card accidentally and I tried to recover them with test disk and Photorec.
I unzipped the files but I just have the executable files...I checked the files with Photorec and the program did all the process but when the program finished checking the files there´s an instuction saying that I can find the recovering files in recup dir but I haven´t installed the program because I haven´t had the option to do it.
What can I do? Could you help me please?

Can you repeat it, run PhotoRec as administrator.
Just right click on photorec_win.exe and run it as administrator.
Also, you shouldn't run any antivirus as a background process and stop it during recovery.
Did you use the TestDisk 6.14 32-bit version?

I tried to do what you said, click on the right button but i have options like extract files, rename, repair file, order by, establish password, I can´t see anything about running the program as administrator...

Probably depend on Vista Home and Vista home premium.

TestDisk and PhotoRec are only executable.
Your installation path is, where you extracted your files.
The folder recup_dir.1 etc.. should be in your folder like;
C:\Users\Fiona\Documents\testdisk-6.14-WIP.win\testdisk-6.14-WIP\recup_dir.1
Just tested and decompressed TestDisk into my documents folder.
Please let me know.
