Recover data

#1 Post by Mushruby »

I have an Adatanobility Nh92 external drive. After 2 years of it working perfectly it is now asking to be formatted.
Is it possible while I was transferring data to my new computer . How can I format the drive without losing all my info?
HELP!

Do not format !

Please give feedback about testdisk analyse, quicksearch, deepersearch. If your partition is found, try to list with "P".

remy easily meant that you shouldn't format it.
And you can try to diagnose your situation using TestDisk.
Infos from Analyse and Quick Search would be appreciated.

Start TestDisk.
Press enter to Create a log,
select your affected disk,
choose partition table type intel (if not already preselected),
Confirm at Analyse and upload a screenshot.
It's your current partition structur.
Run Quick Search and upload another screenshot.
If a partition is found, then press p to have a try to list your files.
To get back to your previous screen easily press q for Quit.
