How to recover EFS-encrypted files correctly?!

#1 Post by Gachmuret »

I succeeded in recovering all my files from my damaged NTFS partition...

BUT the EFS encrypted files on it didn't show up as encrypted but as ordinary files (i.e. pic.jpg is still named pic.jpg but not marked as encrypted and therefore a corrupted jpeg-file) So system won't handle them as encrypted files to be able to decrypt them.

I have the correct certificate keys installed in my windows 8... but how to decrypt files that are not handled as encrypted manually or how to recover them correctly in a way that they will be handled as encrypted files?!

PLEASE HELP ME!
