I accidentally installed an operating system over some data that is desperately needed. I started running Photorec 7.0-WIp to attempt to get it back. Things seemed to be going well at first but when I get to sector 110XXXXXXX it seems stuck here for the last day plus.
So far it has been running for 68h00m10s and every second the time till completion goes up just when I looked now it was at 312h55m28s. It seems like the sectors it reads does change but it has been going so slow in this one part.
The drive is a samsung HD321KJ
