Can't change destination directory

I am a first time user of PhotoRec, and I ran a test, and I'm starting to get the hang of the options. I want to run different recoveries on the same disk, and save them to different locations on other drives. I set the initial location on first run, but now I cannot locate the screen to change the destination directory. I said oh well, I'll more the first test recovery and let it keep using the original destination, but permission is denied to move or delete the recovery files from that location. Program retains memory of previous session, and even if quit and restart photorec, upon answering N on resume previous session, still no prompt to set destination. Please help.

a) How to reset the destination directory on each run?
b) How to move or delete the recovered files?

Thanks

To select the destination, see
http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec ... be_written

To solve your permission problem and move the recovered files, you need to take ownership of the recovered files

Thanks for the reply.

The screen to set destination does not appear. It did on the first run, but no longer.
When I quit and restart photorec, I am first offered the choice to continue previous session.
When I select N, I am taken to the screen to select media.
When I select the recovery drive, I am taken to screen to select between whole disk and named partition.
At that stage I may choose options, file options, quit, or search selected partition.
At no point does screen to select destination appear.

Thanks for help with this.

Ok I've sorted this out, I didn't realize the directory select screen was AFTER initiating search.

Also succeeded in taking ownership. Would be useful if active user was owner by default, if possible.

This thread is [SOLVED]

Thanks
