frozen after drive selection

#1 Post by coseed »

I am trying to recover images from a lost drive. The drive no longer shows up as a drive letter so I cannot navigate to it via Windows explorer. But it does show up in Disk Management as "Not Initialized" "Unallocated". When I run PhotoRec, it sees the 120GB drive, but when I select the disk and press enter, nothing happens. At least not for 5min or so? It never proceeds to the second partition selection step. Does that mean I'm sh!t out of luck? or is there another step I should be taking?
