USB drive not recognized by testdisk

Hi everyone. First off thanks in advance for any help with this.

So I was transferring files from my cameras flash card to this USB key and all seemed well. Next time I tried to load it it asked if I wanted to format the USB.

I did not format it, and after some searches I found photorec.

Here is whats going on.

A drive letter is assigned but the file system is listed as raw. Windows see's the USB key and gives it a drive letter, however when I try to recover the data off of it neither Testdisk or PhotoRec lists this device as something to recover from.

I have tried uninstalling the device from my device manager, and also ejected the media properly a few times with no luck.

Is there any way I can make it visible in photorec to recover the lost files?

Here is screenshot of where I'm at.

When you run PhotoRec, do you see your other disk ? Is the USB drive the only disk missing ?
Note that you need to have local administrator rights to use TestDisk & PhotoRec.

Yes, this is the only drive that is missing.

I have attached the a capture of the list of drives that it gives me on the startup screen. Its the same for TestDisk.

This PhotoRec session was run as Administrator.

Can you try using latest 7.1-WIP ? If it still doesn't work, please run "testdisk_win /debug /log /all" and post the testdisk.log fle content.

This worked perfectly. I ran 7.1 and it was right there. I got all my files back.
Amazing!

If you need me to run anything to see what was going on let me know.

Thank you so much.
