Terminfo file is missing

Getting a 'Terminfo file is missing' error on running photorec from testdisk-7.0.arm-none-linux-gnueabi on a QNAP NAS box. I see that this has been a problem previously, and I can confirm that 'l/linux' does exist. I notice there was a fix for this recently. Was it missed from this build?

The file is present in the archive.
Extract the archive using

tar xjf testdisk-7.1-WIP.arm-none-linux-gnueabi.tar.bz2

Yes, the 'linux' file is there, as I said, but the program, when run, still gives an 'Terminfo file is missing' error.

Just tried testdisk-7.1-WIP.arm-none-linux-gnueabi.tar.bz2 and get the same: the 'l/linux' file is there, but still get the 'Terminfo file is missing' error message.

Is the file "linux" in a subdirectory named "l" ? Have you really use the tar command and not Winzip/winrar/...

Did the exact tar command as shown above. The 'linux' file is in the 'l' directory. Still get 'Terminfo file is missing'.

Before starting TestDisk or PhotoRec, run
Does it solve the problem ?

Oh, I thought that was going to be the one. Unfortunately, it had no effect.

Does any one has a solution for this problem ?
I have the same problem:
"Terminfo file is missing'
I installed testdisk-7.1-WIP on location
volume1/Shared/public/testdisk-7.1-WIP
login with putty on my Synology DS211+ and start photorec by:
./photorec
And than we get the following information :
Terminfo file is missing
Extract all files and subdirectories before running the program
-Directory "l" with the file linux is there and I tryed exact by tar xjf
What else can I do please help me ?

I gave up trying on my NAS box, in the end. I have a kit which attaches to a disk, to turn it into a USB disk. I used that, then ran photorec on a laptop.
