Live CD with TestDisk 7

#1 Post by JimSch »

Does anyone know of a live CD that includes the latest version of TestDisk? All of the common builds I have looked at have the 6.14 version, not 7.0. Unfortunately the drive I'm trying to recover errors out on every 6.14 version I've tried, and on various hardware also. I confirmed that version 7.0 works, but I can only install that into Windows and I would prefer to run it from a live CD boot instead.

If you run Fedora LiveCD, you will be able to install testdisk 7.0 via the package manager or download testdisk 7.1-WIP from https://www.cgsecurity.org
