PhotoRec to View files only

#1 Post by slurm »

I'm using PhotoRec on Linux to recover data on 1TB external drive. Is there a way to view the recovered file names before they are written to a destination?

PhotoRec doesn't recover the original filenames, so a list of the recovered filenames will be pretty useless.
You can view the recovered files even if the recovery is still running.
