ext2/ext3/ext4 filesystem

#1 Post by sag2007 »

Good day!

In Photorec in File options there is a file type named ext2/ext3/ext4 filesystem. I tried but failed to find an explanation to what that type might be. Not to spook my luck I will refrain from revealing my expectations ))

ext2 ext3 and ext4 are linux filesystems. They are specific in photorec search, because there are superblocks that need to be removed from carving of files.

Note : you've made a double post, I trash the other one.
