I am trying to recover a deleted SPF ShadowProtect base image file, however, it seems that Photorec keeps splitting any spf file recovered into many smaller files with generic names like f3799855104.spf?

Can you send me a SPF file sample ? (an original one, not one recovered by PhotoRec)

My issue is that when you run testdisk or undelete i can't select my QNAP since it is network attached or USB it doesn't show up in the list. How should i send you a sample SPF?

TestDisk is free. You can share the SPF file using google drive by example.

Data recovery software (testdisk, photorec and others) can only works with DAS, SAN but not with NAS.

Ok, i am running testdisk_static from the QNAP after I SSH'd into it like when i did PhotoRec.
I selected the disk dev/md1 partition
I selected NONE partition media
It's running now.
Also, the SPF sample i have to send to you is 32GB so I am trying to find a way to get it to you.

You need to have 32GB of free space to create a disk image of a 32GB disk...
