What is Missing from x64bit Photorec??

#1 Post by smipx013 »

Hi there,

Can anyone advise - I would like to understand what is missing / wrong with the x64bit version of Photorec. On the download screen it mentions to use the 32bit version as "some features are missing". I have a PE usb image that is x64 (and no wow) but I guess I could swap over to an i386 PE if really necessary (as I definitely want to have testdisk and photorec on it).

thanks
Paul

Latest TestDisk 7.1-WIP Windows 32-bits and 64-bits have now the same features. 7.0 Windows 64-bits was lacking some libraries (32-bit version was compiled using cygwin, 64-bit version using mingw)
