hi guys

i just recovered a big video file with photorec, its a mov. however it seems to have broken it into three .mov's of all the exact same size 3.98GB and doesn't play. I'm pretty sure it is the same file. how to I either get these together to play as one or run the scan again and get photorec to recognise this is all the same file. thaks in advance

Do not store the recovered files on FAT filesystem. Do you have the same problem if you use NTFS or exFAT instead ?
Do you recover the video from a digital camera memory card or from a harddisk ?
If it's from a digital camera, which brand and model ?
Do you have an approximate idea of the original filesize ?

thanks for the reply. the files are coming from an external hard drive that they were deleted from. orignal file size I'm not too sure about but i think it was about 12gb. I am recovereing them to an NTFS hard drive. thanks again for coming back to me on this
