Photo Recovery Issue

#1 Post by RobM716 »

Hi everyone I'm new here. I recently took a trip and took my camera with me and took a bunch of photos and when I came home my CF card wouldn't read in my computer and if I put it in my camera it says no images available but shows that 5.0gb of space has been used. I ran PhotoRec and it recovered what I think is all of the files as .cr2 files which is what my canon shoots as raw files. The problem I'm having is that the files will not open in Photoshop or Lightroom which are all up to date. Can anyone give me any suggestions on what I can try to do to open these files? Thanks in advance!!

Rob

Do you have the problem with latest 7.1-WIP ?
Can you send me an unmodified original cr2 file taken with your camera ? I will check if PhotoRec recognize all its data fields.

I tried to send the files and they got kicked back two times. first time it said the file was too big to send to your email and the second time it said the email account you tried to reach does not exist
