Hello!
After a few weeks anguishing over some lost image files from my Canon 5D MkII's 16GB CF card, I was reminded of this service (PhotoRec) by a friend. I dutifully followed instructions downloaded and ran the program, and lo and behold! My files started to be recovered! I could see the thumbnails of the images (RAW, CR2) in the folder which I had created and I was so happy!
After recovery had completed, I went to open the recup_dir.1 and recup_dir.2 folders, only to be denied access!
Waaahhh!!
The pop-up suggested I attempt to gain permanent access by clicking the security link, which I did, but upon changing the permissions, I could not save any changes attempted.
I am working from a Win10 ASUS laptop (which is my own).
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Mandi
