Recovering .prproj file on Mac OS Sierra

#1 Post by OrphenStay »

Hi there, I'm trying to recover an Adobe Premiere project file (.prproj) on my Mac OS Sierra.

The website shows that it is supported, but I can't find it in the File Opts. I'm trying to understand how to add a custom file type, but I'm having a hard time and not sure if it is necessary.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I have the exact filename and location where it used to be (folder was deleted too with it though). And it was deleted a bit less than 24 hours ago.

I so hope it can be done otherwise I lose months of work :(

Thank you so much in advance!

Enable the 'tx?' file family (enabled by default), it will recover xml files including prproj.

Thanks a lot, I have managed to recover the .prproj files! Although there are lots and lots of them, many more than I thought there were and I don't know which one it is. Thanks anyway, now I'll be testing them until I find the right one!
