I was running window with four partitions. I created an unallocated partition from c drive to install Ubuntu. In the phase of Ubuntu installation, I installed it over full 1 TB hard disk by mistake. It formatted the whole hard disk. Can I recover my data of d:\, e:\ and f:\ drives?
Currently, Ubuntu is installed over the hard disk and I am not doing any work on that.

Re: Window partioned Hard disk formatted by Ubuntu installation
Run TestDisk, Analyse, Quick Search, Stop, Deeper Search, use the arrow keys to set the NTFS partitions you want to recover to P(rimary) except the partition with your Windows OS as *(bootable).
On next screen, choose Write, confirm, if asked, choose BackupBS and confirm, Quit and restart your computer.
