ECryptfs files

#1 Post by vlad7777 »

I cannot recover my photos from MicroSD card.
I ran PhotoRec and it produced 94 directories "Recup_Dir"

100's of files in 45 of these directories are of the type: f0129792.eCryptfs

the remaining directories are full of various file types but all are some gibberish (fonts, some pics, etc.) - not have any of my pictures that I am trying to recover.

I can read the MicroSd and can see all the files, but if I try to open them, I get error "Unfortunately this file cannot be opened".....

Any suggestions?

It's probably a memory card from an Android phone. All files are now encrypted. Put the files on another memory card and put the memory card in your phone, you may be able to access them again.
