Large Movie Files from Internal HD bin

#1 Post by Whids »

Hi All,

I very recently trashed two 35gb video files from my iMac bin (internal HD) and Im trying to recover them for an edit. Ive ran a few scans but dont seem to be turning up with anything. Especially anything that large. In fact, no video files at all even though Im only searching for those file formats. I think they were .mov or .mp4 but cant be certain. Is there a file size limit and is there a specific way to search for trashed files from an internal HD using Photrec? If not, what could I be doing wrong?

Cheers in advance if you can help.

Unfortunately the larger the files were, the most risk there were fragmented.
Usual video file formats are m2ts, mov, mpg, riff, ts.
