SD Card recovery taking a very long time
My wife's 32Gb SD card from her Android phone became corrupted. I am trying to use PhotoRec to recover the files. It seems to be taking a very long time. PhotoRec estimates that it will take around 10 days. It initially said 204 hours, I am about 8 hours into it. Is this an accurate time? Is there any way for me to speed this up? This is on a Debian Stretch KDE system if it matters.

Re: SD Card recovery taking a very long time
Unless the card reader is connected via an old USB1 connector, there is probably an electronic problem with the SD card...
If possible, try with another card reader on another computer but if it doesn't work, you will probably have to contact a data recovery company.
