Files Recovered but unusable (can't open)

#1 Post by hkseth »

I accidentally deleted all the files in a particular hard disk (SSD drive). Tried to use PhotoRec to recover raw images on that drive, and it is able to find the images but all files are not usable (they are just blanks), they even have the same date time, file size etc. (so deceptively look like it is recovering everything). However, I can't use any files...

I am using on Windows 10.

Any tips would be really appreciated.

Regards

You may have to take ownership of the recovered files to be allowed to open them.
