Photo Rec recovering incomplete files

I have been recovering data from a 1T Seagate drive with photo rec and have been able to recover about 1000 files as of yet.
However the files are incomplete, most mp3 files just play for 10 seconds or less.
Do i have to wait until all the files have been recovered to have all the full size of the recovered files.
