adobe xd file format recovery

#1 Post by martschy »

Hi there,

I accidently forgot one file to add to a backup before formating a disk

the file is an adobe xd file with the extension .xd

and the signature checker https://www.cgsecurity.org/photorec/ says

PhotoRec has recovered:
f0000000.sxw - size=13124

WARNING: extension doesn't match - recovered file:sxw - original: xd

https://www.cgsecurity.org/photorec/sca ... faa3fc14bf

as .sxw is an 'OpenOffice Text Document (ZIP archive)' the extension does not match I guess.

so would photorec be able to recover that file as an .sxw file or would it be broken or not recoverable?

Thank you for any help :)
