MTS Files recovered - but many are merged

#1 Post by nidhi20 » 31 Mar 2019, 15:52

Hello,

I wanted to recover some MTS files I had accidentally formatted from my external hard drive.
I was able to recover them- however the way it was recovered was wrong.
It seems multiple MTS files merged into one file - any idea why this would have happened?

Thanks,
Nidhi

mts file format is a streaming file format, there is no reliable way to find when a new recording begin.

Thank you for the response. That makes sense now. So it seems there is no way we can recover mts files correctly
