WD HDD Head Swap Experiences

#1 Post by lisaly90 » 16 Jul 2019, 06:29

I think it might be nice to have a thread here for unusual head swap experiences that worked.

Here's mine from today:

Patient:
WD2500AAJS-75M0A0
DCM: HANNNT2CH
Date: 30 Aug 2009
Head map: 0, 1

Donor:
WD3200AAKS-00L9A0
DCM: HBRNHT2CGN
Date: 01 Nov 2009
Head map: 0, 1

Works perfectly and imaging at 35MB/s

Impressing!

But how about writing your experience in a way that somebody who never tried to swap heads can profit from it?
