Hi all,

As per my subject, I would like to know if Photorec is able to recover .MSG files. From the below list, it seems like it is able to do it but when i try to find it in the file opt, i am unable to find it. I am currently using version 7.1.

PhotoRec 7.1 can recover .msg files.
As written in the link you provided ".msg Outlook (.doc in FileOpts need to be enabled)". They are part of the doc file family, msg aren't a new file format by themself.
